On the occasion of Bunpimay 2025 – the traditional New Year of Laos, the Board of Directors of GBplus paid a visit to the Consulate General of Laos in Ho Chi Minh City. The visit served not only as a gesture of respect for Laos’ rich cultural traditions but also as a meaningful step toward potential cooperation in the construction sector between the two countries.
The GBplus delegation, including Mr. Trần Bửu Long (CEO), Ms. Trịnh Nguyễn Ngọc Quỳnh (COO), Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Hiền (CHRO) was warmly welcomed by Mr. Phonesy Bounmixay – Consul General, and Mr. Vanxay Keovilay – Deputy Consul General.
During the conversation, both sides expressed a shared desire to strengthen business tiesbetween Vietnam and Laos, particularly in the context of Laos’ ongoing efforts to expand its infrastructure and urban development. The Consulate General expressed readiness to facilitate connections between GBplus and potential Laotian partners in the near future.
Notably, both parties preliminarily agreed to organize a business trip to Laos to explore the market and identify practical collaboration opportunities. This marks an important step aligned with GBplus’ strategic vision to become a professional and capable contractor, ready to integrate into the international construction market—starting with Southeast Asia.
