In Q2, 2025, GBplus was honored to welcome representatives from Giatec – a leading Canadian technology company – together with scholars from the University of Ottawa, at GBplus’s Ho Chi Minh City office. The meeting opened new directions for strategic collaboration, with a shared goal of promoting sustainable construction and applying advanced technologies to projects implemented by GBplus in Vietnam. The introduction was respectfully organized under the connection of Mr. Gabriel Laflamme – Deputy Consul & Commercial Attaché, Consulate General of Canada in Vietnam.

The SmartRock® wireless sensors were deployed during the concrete slab casting process, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature and strength. This advanced solution improved quality, ensured safety, and optimized construction timelines. The adoption of Giatec technology once again demonstrates GBplus’s strong commitment to pioneering the integration of cutting-edge technologies to elevate construction quality.
