GBPLUS NEWS | AEON MALL THANH HOA CONSTRUCTION GETS A SPEED BOOST, ACCELERATING TO COMPLETE THE RC STRUCTURE AND TOPPING OUT IN DECEMBER 2025

Amidst the chilly atmosphere of the final days of 2025 — and despite Thanh Hóa’s weather being continuously affected by heavy rain and storms, causing numerous challenges for construction — these difficulties have only fueled the passion and determination of more than 100 members of the site management team and construction workforce at the AEON Mall Thanh Hóa project. Each night, the lights on site remain brightly lit, blending into a bustling, energetic working environment. The team works tirelessly day and night, racing against time to ensure progress stays on schedule while maintaining quality and safety for the project.

Everyone is united under one ultimate goal: Completing the reinforced concrete structure (RC) and topping out within December 2025.

In this project, GBplus is responsible for the reinforced concrete structure works for Zone C of the AEON Mall Thanh Hóa Commercial Center (TTTM), which spans 10.5 hectares with a total floor area of 120,000 m² and demands strict quality standards from the Japanese Developer and Korean Main Contractor. The project is expected not only to bring modern, convenient living values but also to elevate the urban landscape of the area.

Over more than 5 months of execution, the GBplus team has steadfastly overcome a series of challenges:
• Complex construction methods due to floor heights > 6m..
• Strict safety and quality standards from the Main Contractor, monitored closely at every stage.
• And especially, severe stormy weather directly impacting the schedule.

Although the schedule is currently at a critical stage, with difficulties in manpower mobilization and weather-induced delays, the atmosphere on site remains full of energy, unity, and determination. To date, the Site Management Board has successfully completed concrete pouring for Level 5, Section 12, and is accelerating the pace to complete the remaining sections and the rooftop floor as planned.

At the project site, Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Giáp – Project Manager – shared:

We strictly follow the schedule, monitor each step closely to ensure quality and timing. Everyone here understands that completing the work on schedule is not only a responsibility, but also a source of pride for all of our engineers.”
