Last week, Green Building Design & Construction Solutions Co., Ltd (GBplus) hosted a closing ceremony to award internship completion certificates to the interns from Q1/2023 and to welcome one of the interns who has officially joined the company as a full-time employee.
During Q1/2023, GBplus welcomed students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and Van Lang University. The students completed a two-month internship at various construction sites and specialized departments. In addition to gaining hands-on work experience in GBplus’s professional environment, the interns received dedicated guidance from managers and senior staff members. Through the 1 Mentor + 1 Buddy model (one supervisor and one supporting staff member), the interns quickly adapted to the workplace and maximized their learning experience. Those who met job performance requirements were provided with a stipend during the internship and were given priority for recruitment after graduation.
The internship certificate awarding ceremony was attended by division directors, managers, and supervisors. They provided valuable feedback, evaluations, and advice to the interns and listened to their reflections and aspirations after the learning and working period.
Ms. Trinh Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Chief Operating Officer, shared: “Training and guiding students or fresh graduates are annual activities GBplus highly values. With the principle that human resources are central to development, GBplus always creates opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in practice through internship and apprenticeship programs.”
At the event, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hien, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), congratulated the interns on their excellent performance during the internship. She acknowledged their active participation in company activities and praised their positive energy and creativity. She expressed her hope that the interns gained valuable real-world experience to guide their future career paths.
Mr. Bui Anh Ngoc, Chief Project Construction Officer, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Head of Cost Management & Budgeting Department, awarded certificates to the interns.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hien presented flowers to congratulate the interns.
Supervisors also handed out gifts to the interns to celebrate their accomplishments.
Representing the interns, they shared:
“During our internship at GBplus, we gained confidence and practical experience thanks to the support from the team. Under their enthusiastic guidance, we were able to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios, which is crucial for our future development. Additionally, participating in company activities allowed us to adapt to a professional environment. We will always remember GBplus and hope to work here in the future.”

BUILDING THE FUTURE AND CAREERS THROUGH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
Among the recent interns, Huynh Ngoc Tuan Anh, a final-year student from Van Lang University, found his experience at GBplus so rewarding that he applied for a position within the company after his internship. He has since been recruited as a Junior QS Engineer in the Cost Management Department (CMD), officially joining the team to contribute to GBplus’s success.
