GBPLUS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES THE BASEMENT CONSTRUCTION

🔰 Recently, the GBplus Site Management has officially completed the concrete pour for Basement Level B4 of the Hai Son Office located in Cau Giay District, Hanoi. This achievement represents a significant milestone, overcoming challenges in construction site management, traffic conditions, and the continuous execution of basement construction during the rainy season with adverse weather conditions in Northern Vietnam. It meets the Investor’s expectations for an early project completion, with the underground portion finalized by November 2024 and the above-ground structure completed before July 2025.

🏢 The project covers a construction area of 24,155m², including 4 basement levels and 28 above-ground stories. The design adopts a modern, luxurious style featuring open spaces that maximize natural light utilization, enhancing connectivity and creating an optimal working environment. The structure is being developed according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, emphasizing environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, effective water management, resource utilization, and energy efficiency in commercial and office areas. GBplus is honored to contribute to this project as the contractor responsible for structural works for both the underground and above-ground sections.

🏗 The foundation construction—considered the most challenging phase of this project—required approximately 2,000m³ of concrete, supported by specialized equipment. The site management team meticulously planned and mobilized resources to ensure the overnight concrete pour proceeded according to schedule. On October 25, a significant milestone was achieved when the GBplus team successfully completed this critical phase, meeting the stringent requirements for progress, safety, and quality set forth by the Investor.

Despite encountering numerous difficulties, including demanding construction conditions, strict compliance requirements, occupational safety, and environmental protection during all stages, the project was rigorously supervised by an experienced Project Management Team to ensure adherence to quality standards. Adverse weather during the Northern rainy season added another layer of complexity. However, with the determination, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the GBplus team, the milestones were achieved successfully, accelerating the project’s progress and maintaining the planned schedule.

Looking ahead, the Site Management Team will leverage the dry season at the start of the year to expedite progress, aiming to seal the basement structure in 2024 and complete all structural work by Q2 2025. While ambitious, the team is confident in their ability to meet these goals with the highest quality standards.
